Wedding Color Spotlight: Captivating Coral!

While it can be difficult to remember that Spring is indeed on her way, what with the snow feverishly falling outside our Northeastern windows, flipping through magazines and keeping a watch on wedding trend blogs and sites has our spirits soaring upon seeing sunny, saturated color! Brilliant blues, lovely lilacs, and fierce fuchsias abound, but the color we’d like to take a closer look at first is coral.
We’ve put together some gorgeous options for incorporating coral into your wedding and reception. Let us know which you like best, and if there’s any coral treasures you’d like to share!
Wedding Flowers: There are countless options for bringing coral into your floral arrangements and bridal bouquet. Look at several different flowers as the color intensity will vary by both flower type and individual flower. Coral can lean toward red, orange or pink, three colors that just happen to look gorgeous together! For a bouquet that incorporates all three, we suggest trying tiger lilies, stargazer lilies and coral roses.
Wedding Favors: Continuing with the flower theme, BloemBox favors in any color would look beautiful with coral. If you did want to keep the favor color restricted to tones of orange, pink and/or red, you can also opt for all of one color in the style dropdown. Each of the BloemBox Favors we offer features at least one flower that would work wonderfully!
Bridesmaid Dresses: Your problem with finding coral bridesmaid dresses is sure to be choosing just one. I set out to find some favorites, and landed at DimitraDesigns.com. Their selection of stunning dresses is huge! This was the first and last stop on my hunt for coral dresses as I found more than enough to ooh and ahh over.
If you want something a little bit sexy, consider these coral Short Bridesmaid Dresses. All sorts of flirty and fun, and free shipping! A longer option that caught my eye was this Alfred Angelo Bridesmaid Dress, available in 55 colors (coral included, of course!), with your choice of color for the modern, yet timeless, waist sash. This one strikes me as something both Katharine Hepburn and Gwen Stefani would enjoy, with the ultimate look truly determined by the color combination you choose.
